Sean Rossiter 'Otter & Twin Otter'.

Delivered to RAF as XL710 and then joined US Navy Development Sqdn VX-6 July 1958. The only Otter ever to be operated by the RAF. Long-range ferry tanks allowed 1,600 mile range.
Overhauled by DHC from 17.10.1960 and sold to RNZAF November 1961.
Placed in storage at Woodbourne until 25.5.62 when it was flown to Wigram for storage. Disbandment of the Antartic Flight led to the Otter being put up for sale by tender and it was sold to Georgian Bay Airlines, Parry Sound, Toronto, Ontario.
Flown from Wigram to Wellington 14.6.1963 and cancelled from NZ Register 1.8.63.
Acquired by Cox Aircraft Corp to be the second Turbo-Prop conversion after (421).
