Otter 34 was delivered to the RCAF on 8th April 1954 with serial 3676, and assigned to 121 Communications & Rescue Flight, based at the RCAF Sea Island station, Vancouver, BC. Just three weeks after its delivery the Otter was destroyed on 29th April 1954 in the same hangar fire which destroyed 3670 (25) at Sea Island, which has already been described.
